COMPETITION
The Festival on Wheels will have an international competition among the recent feature films. The jury will award the following prizes: The Festival Grand Prize, “The Golden Goose” of the City of Kars (20.000 Euro) for the best film in competition, the Special Jury Prize “The Silver Goose” of the City of Kars (5000 Euro) for the second best film in the competition. The short films in the European Panorama section will compete for the Audience Award (1000 Euro).

RULES
Films produced in 2008 – 2009 are eligible (exception: Retrospectives).
The Festival accepts only films on 35mm.
The Festival does not accept documentaries.
Films of 30 minutes or less are eligible for the short film section.
Applications to the Festival must be made by the official Entry Form.
The publicity material should be forwarded before 15 September 2009.
The deadline to withdraw films is 15 September 2009.

- Complete dialogue list / subtitle list in English
- A DVD copy of the film with English subtitles
- A Betacam selection from the film for TV promotion
- Detailed bio-filmography of the director and the cast.
- Stills from the film (colour and black & white)
- Recent photo of the director
- Posters, brochures, press books, press reviews

TRANSPORTATION
The cost of transportation of the prints will be covered by the Festival.
