art.1 : the deadline for the inscription is March 01, 2010. Only videos produced after January 01, 2008 are applicable. The running time of each video is unlimited. Only experimental videos are accepted.
art.2 : the copies of the videos on dvd (dvd+r preferred) or vhs, one dvd or vhs can countain several videos, will be sent, with the entry form, printed dated and signed (one entry form per work) to the following address (according to the type of parcel sent, please don't forget to include the festival telephone number), the representative photography of the work (jpeg, 300dpi), and the videography of the author will be sent by email at the address.
art.3 : each work must be identified on the box with the following:
title, fist name and last name of the director, the running time, ntsc, pal or secam.
art.4 : the directors of the selected videos will be contacted at the beginning of June 2010 and must send their s-vhs, minidv or dvcam, pal or ntsc screening copy (no masters) to the above address, deadline June 25, 2010. Each selected video will start with a 30 seconds test pattern, followed by a countdown, and 10 seconds of black after the film.
art.5 : each director will be contacted by post in June 2010.
art.6 : the non selected works will be proposed to the public and will be screened on individual request during the festival.
art.7 : the dvd or vhs of the videos considered as experimental by the selection committee, will be kept by the festival. These videos will be archived on dvd, listed on catalog, and proposed to the public in the P'Silo video library. The P'Silo video library is a space where the videos are only consultable on site and free of charge.
art.8 : s-vhs, minidv or dvcam will be returned at the expense of the festival. The videos considered as non-experimental by the selection committee can be returned at the request of the authors and at their own expense, deadline 01/10/2010.
art.9 : the authors and the producers give up any recourse against the organizers, including loss and damage of the tapes when they are returned to the authors concerned.
art.10 : for custom purposes please mention on the parcel : "no commercial value ".
art.11 : The authors and the producers cede their rights for the duration of the festival. Any other utilsation outside the festival would be by predefined agreement.
art.12 : the inscription includes the authorization to use without rental fee a clip, not exceeding 30 seconds, of the selected works to promote the festival in a noncommercial objective (trailer, Internet, TV,…).
art.13 : the selection committee has supreme decision making authority.
art.14 : the participation in the festival implies full acceptation of the rules of the festival.
